Teaching Neighborhood Bridges to 3rd graders today. The theatre game was “how do you know where you are” and we were at the beach. I said show me what you do at the beach. Sunbathers came up followed by fishermen and swimmers. Then two boys had a great idea and came up together. One began to pantomime swimming and his buddy came up and pressed his head down. The swimmer stopped moving. The kids in the audience all shouted joyfully “He drowned him!!”. The teachers and I tried not to laugh and cry.
